Medihoney Gel Sheet is a non-adherent dressing with 100% Pure Medical Grade Manuka Honey combined with Sodium Alginate. FEATURES AND BENEFITS A totally natural product which contains 100% pure medical grade Manuka honey. Delivers broad spectrum antimicrobial activity. Adjusts wound pH to the range 3-4 creating the optimum environment for wound healing. Eliminates malodour Is safe to be used on all ages including paediatrics and neonates. Can be easily cut, shaped or moulded to fit any wound type including cavities. The dressing is activated by wound fluid or exudate and the honey is released slowly into the wound, creating the optimum pH levels and stimulating wounds to heal faster. Is non sticky and slowly adjusts the wound pH minimising discomfort Dissolves and is absorbed into the wound.
