Swann Morton Blue Carbon Non-Sterile Precision Blades

Swann Morton Blue Carbon Non-Sterile Blades are precision-manufactured carbon-steel blades designed for accurate, controlled cutting. Manufactured by Swann Morton, a globally recognised specialist in surgical blades and scalpels, these high-quality blades provide a consistently sharp cutting edge for applications where precision and control are important.

???? AGE RESTRICTION – 18+ ONLY
You must be aged 18 or over to purchase these blades. Age verification may be required. These are extremely sharp professional blades and must be handled, stored and disposed of responsibly.

Unlike the red Swann Morton range, which is supplied sterile, the blue range is non-sterile and intended for non-medical use. This makes these blades particularly suitable for specialist precision-cutting applications such as model making, craft work, detailed trimming and other tasks where an exceptionally sharp and accurate blade is required.

Available Blade Shapes

The range currently includes No. 10 and No. 15 carbon-steel blades, giving you a choice of cutting profiles depending on your requirements.

The No. 10 features a curved cutting edge and is a versatile option for larger or longer cuts, while the No. 15 has a smaller curved cutting edge designed for short, precise cuts.

Both blade shapes are compatible with the appropriate Swann Morton scalpel handles, allowing you to create a precision cutting tool suited to your particular application.

Ideal for Precision Cutting, Model Making & Craft

The exceptionally sharp cutting edge of a Swann Morton blade makes it useful for a variety of detailed, non-medical applications. Depending on the blade shape, potential uses include:

  • Model making and scale modelling
  • Precision craft work
  • Detailed cutting and trimming
  • Artwork and creative projects
  • Cutting paper, card and other suitable materials
  • Specialist hobby applications
  • Other tasks requiring a very sharp, precise cutting edge

For hobby and craft applications, always ensure that the blade is suitable for the material being cut and follow appropriate safety precautions.

Non-Sterile Carbon Steel Blades

The Blue Carbon range is manufactured from carbon steel and supplied non-sterile. Swann Morton identifies its non-sterile carbon-steel standard blades as being intended for non-medical use, making this range particularly appropriate where sterility is not required.

Each box contains 100 blades, providing a convenient supply for regular precision-cutting applications.

Important Safety Information

These are extremely sharp professional-quality blades and can cause serious injury if handled incorrectly. Use an appropriate compatible handle, take suitable precautions when fitting and using the blade, and dispose of used blades safely.

These blades are non-sterile and are not intended for medical or surgical use. Purchasers must be aged 18 or over. Keep blades securely stored away from children and dispose of used blades responsibly.
