Used at night to gently stretch the muscles of the lower leg and foot which are associated with heel pain and other problems. This product features a foot pain night splint designed to comfortably stretch the plantar fascia(underneath the foot) and the Achillies tendon during sleep. Why? Because this stretching helps reduce the muscle contracture, imflammation and pain associated with the first step in the morning or after periods of rest. It has a removable stretching wedge which is provided if additional dorsiflexion (pointing your foot towards your body) is needed.
